Hi everyone! Hope everyone had a good start to the new school term. With the recent interest in Internet Safety, Singapore Learning is offering free access to our Cyber Safety Course to all members as a gesture of goodwill. This free course aims to help you understand and be aware of the dangers that lurk within the Internet. This course would be useful for those who are not familiar with these dangers and also for parents who would like to know what protective and preventive measures can be taken to ensure the safety of their children on the Internet.


Our Cyber Safety course covers the following topics:

1. Internet Technology
2. Viruses and Other Menaces
3. Computer and the Law
4. Content Guidance for Children
5. Harmony and Safety in the Cyber Community.

New Drama Category for Primary Schools at 8th Schools Video Awards



The Ministry of Education and Ngee Ann Polytechnic (School of Film and Media Studies) hosted the Eighth Schools Video Awards (SVA) Ceremony on 2 March 2007 to honour the effort of 171 schools in their video production ventures. This event is supported by the Media Development Authority.

This year, the drama category was introduced to the primary schools. The aim is to encourage them to put forward their creative stories into video.

Winning entries of the SVA can be viewed at MOE's E-video website or School Showcase.
